About our program
Our 26-week Information Technology certificate program teaches you how to support and maintain the technology organizations rely on every day. You’ll learn how computers, operating systems and networks work together and how to diagnose and resolve common technical issues. You’ll gain hands-on experience installing and configuring systems, managing user accounts, supporting Windows environments and maintaining reliable network connections. The program also introduces database basics, foundational programming concepts and essential cybersecurity practices so you understand how information is organized, stored and protected. Along the way, you’ll strengthen your troubleshooting, communication and problem-solving skills so you can confidently step into IT support roles across offices, healthcare facilities, retail businesses, government departments and other technology-driven workplaces.
Program outcomes
Upon graduation, you’ll be prepared to pursue roles such as IT support technician, desktop support analyst, computer network technician, junior LAN technician, systems support technician and data centre operator.
